EngageCycle Help

How to set up your business on EngageCycle and send proposals your clients can sign online.

Start here

If you're new, start with Getting started: a checklist for your first day. Then read these in order. It's also the order of the walkthrough.

  1. Users, roles, and your account: add your team, set up two-step verification.
  2. Settings: business details, branding, email sender, client fields, credits.
  3. Clients: add clients one at a time or import a CSV.
  4. Catalog: your services and prices.
    • Presets: saved sets of services and prices to start a proposal from.
  5. Templates: design how your proposals look, then publish.
  6. Template blocks: what every block does.
  7. Proposals: build, preview, and send a proposal to one client.
  8. Campaigns: send personalized proposals to many existing clients at once.
  9. Offers: a public page where new customers answer questions, see a price, and sign.
  10. Integrations: webhooks to your other tools, API keys, and the delivery log.
  11. Billing and your plan: what your plan includes and your credits.
  12. Signing in with Google or Microsoft: connect your work account and sign in with it.
  13. Use EngageCycle from Claude or ChatGPT: connect an AI assistant to look up clients and send proposals.
  14. Sending feedback: send us an idea, a problem, or a question.

Words we use

  • Build: what's on a proposal: the packages or base service, add-ons, prices, and note. You make it in the builder. A preset is one you can start from again.
  • Template: how a proposal looks (the layout, wording, and style). The build fills it in.
  • Proposal: one build in one template for one client, with its own signing link.
  • Campaign: many proposals at once, each worked out from that client's last signed build.
  • Offer: a public link, QR code, or embed for people who aren't clients yet.
  • Document: an engagement letter or a consent sent on its own, without a proposal.
  • Walkthrough: one or more documents (and pages of your own words) a client goes through, one step at a time, from one link.
  • Signer and copied person: a signer signs; a copied person gets a view-only copy and never signs.
  • Credit: used the first time a proposal, engagement letter, consent, or walkthrough reaches a client. See What's a credit?.
